At Instant iFix, we believe in honest service, quality repairs and standing behind our work. We understand that when you trust us with your phone, tablet, laptop, MacBook or computer, you want peace of mind that the repair has been completed professionally and backed by support.
That is why we provide a 12-month limited warranty on eligible repairs carried out by Instant iFix.
This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered and how to make a warranty claim.
We take pride in our workmanship and aim to deliver reliable repairs using quality replacement components.
Our 12-month warranty is designed to give customers confidence and reassurance after repair.
Where eligible, the warranty covers:
Faulty workmanship carried out by Instant iFix
Failure of replacement parts supplied and fitted by Instant iFix
Certain repair-related issues directly linked to the original repair
If a repair covered under warranty develops a fault during the warranty period, we will inspect the device and, where appropriate, repair or replace the defective part.
Our goal is to provide fair and reasonable support while ensuring repairs remain practical and sustainable.
Our warranty covers issues directly related to the original repair completed by Instant iFix.
Examples of issues that may be covered include:
If a replacement part supplied and installed by Instant iFix develops a fault during normal use within the warranty period, we may repair or replace that part.
Examples may include:
Screen display faults caused by defective replacement components
Charging port failure due to a defective installed part
Speaker, microphone or button malfunction linked to a fitted replacement part
Repair-related issues affecting device usability
Every warranty claim is subject to inspection and testing.
If an issue arises because of workmanship relating directly to the repair completed by Instant iFix, we will investigate and, where appropriate, take reasonable steps to resolve the issue.
Examples may include:
A fitted part becoming loose due to installation error
A repair-related connection issue
A component fitted incorrectly during repair
Warranty decisions are based on technician assessment, testing and reasonable evidence.
Like all repair providers, there are circumstances where warranty does not apply.
Our warranty does not cover damage, faults or issues outside our reasonable control.
The following are not covered:
Our warranty becomes void where the device has suffered:
Cracked or smashed screens
Drops or impact damage
Bent frames or housing damage
Pressure damage
Cosmetic damage after repair
Broken charging pins caused by misuse
Damage caused by accidents
If a repaired device is dropped or damaged after repair, any subsequent issue will fall outside warranty cover.
Liquid damage is specifically excluded from warranty.
This includes:
Water damage
Moisture damage
Steam damage
Spill damage
Corrosion-related faults
Even where a liquid-damaged device is temporarily repaired or restored, corrosion may continue internally and faults may develop later.
For this reason, no guarantee can be offered for liquid-damaged devices.
Our warranty does not cover software-related problems, including:
Software corruption
Operating system issues
Failed software updates
Password problems
Malware or viruses
Third-party apps causing faults
Device slowdowns unrelated to repair
Data corruption or syncing issues
Software behaviour may change due to updates released by manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung, Google, Microsoft or others.
Instant iFix cannot accept responsibility for software changes outside our control.
All batteries naturally degrade over time.
Our warranty does not cover:
Reduced battery life caused by normal wear
General battery ageing
Customer expectations regarding battery duration
Battery performance changes due to software updates or usage habits
Where a battery supplied by Instant iFix becomes defective due to a manufacturing fault, this may be reviewed under warranty following inspection.
Many modern devices may display notifications after repair.
For example:
“Unknown Part” messages
Battery notifications
Display warnings
Calibration messages
Service alerts
These warnings are sometimes generated by manufacturer software and may occur even where the repair functions correctly.
Instant iFix is not responsible for manufacturer software restrictions, limitations or notifications.
These do not necessarily indicate a faulty repair.
Some modern devices contain highly sensitive biometric systems.
Warranty does not cover:
Face ID failure caused by pre-existing damage
Touch ID problems caused by previous repair history
Manufacturer pairing restrictions
Biometric system limitations outside our control
Where Face ID or Touch ID was already faulty or compromised before repair, no guarantee can be provided.
Warranty becomes void if:
Another repair company opens the device
Internal parts are changed by another person
Repair stickers or seals are removed
Evidence of tampering is found
We cannot guarantee work performed after third-party interference.
Warranty does not apply where damage results from:
Neglect
Improper use
Misuse
Unauthorised modifications
Charging damage caused by misuse
Use of unsafe accessories or chargers
Devices should always be handled with reasonable care.
Many phones include water-resistant seals from the manufacturer.
Opening a device may affect original waterproof performance.
Although adhesive seals may sometimes be replaced during repair, Instant iFix cannot guarantee waterproofing or original water resistance after any repair.
Customers should avoid exposing repaired devices to liquids or moisture.
Customers are responsible for backing up their own data before repair.
We strongly recommend backing up:
Photos
Videos
Contacts
Notes
Business files
Passwords
App data
Instant iFix accepts no liability for:
Lost files
Corrupted files
Deleted content
Lost business information
Software-related data loss
Warranty does not cover restoration of lost information.

If a fault is found to fall within warranty, we may at our discretion:
